An 18-month trial of the amended Street Improvements scheme (including traffic filters) has been approved using an experimental traffic order
A combined statutory consultation on the proposed introduction of parking controls and continuation of a two-way protected cycle rack and pedestrian and crossings along Rosendale Road.
Before this project can go ahead, a statutory consultation relating to specific traffic orders, will take place before the end of May for 3-5 weeks.
Details of how and when to submit representations will be circulated in the next update and by post.
Only representations received within the statutory consultation period will be considered before a final decision is made.
The Street Improvements trial will commence in the summer for up to 18 months.

Any decisions on changes to the scheme will be made after the first 6 months and once 2 stages of traffic data monitoring have been completed.
